# Configure Analogue and Digital inputs in Dialog software using the rebel data logger

Begin creating a new configuration by clicking on the 'New Configuration' tab. Name the configuration and click 'OK.'

While performing this step, check the sleep mode settings to avoid battery drain.

* Use the drop-down menu to select the 'No Sleep' mode and then click 'OK'.

Click on the 'New Bus' tab and select 'Digital/Analogue' from the listed options and then click 'OK'.

Right-click on selecting the configuration and click 'Properties' to edit the digital/analogue protocol settings.

* Define the digital/analogue rate and click 'OK' to proceed.
