# Appendix 4 – Using the LTE Debug Tool

**Notes:**

Before you begin, ensure that:

* &#x20;ReXgen air device is fully powered, and the USB is connected to the laptop.&#x20;
* ReXdesk is not open when using this tool.

Create a configuration with AWS Upload and send it to the logger.

Close ReXdesk and open the Debug tool.

Click on “Connect Rexgen”.

The output should show “CONNECTED: 4”

Now click on Debug LTE Open; this will start the debugging process.

If the output doesn’t show Status Send OK, please copy the log, paste it into a text file and share it with Influx Technology support.

One Test is completed. Restart the logger entirely by removing the USB and full power to bring it to a normal state.
