# ReXgen Air: PinOut Details

The ReXgen Air has an automotive-style 24-pin Molex Connector. (This enables the device to be easily and robustly installed in production machines). Molex 24 PIN to D Sub 25 connector can be purchased separately.

\*ReXgen Air requires an external antenna to be purchased in addition to the extension cable. The unit's price does not include the external antenna, which can be purchased off the shelf.

#### Warning:

* The connector needs to be adequately tightened to ensure a reliable connection and proper operation.&#x20;
* Each CAN/CAN FD bus end must be terminated with a 120 Ohm resistor across CAN H & CAN L.&#x20;
* Do not short-circuit any pins.&#x20;
* Signal inputs (CAN, analogue or digital) should not exceed ±28 V.
* For stable operation, ensure all sensors and inputs share the same ground as the unit's power supply.
* Please do not use the logger's USB port for stand-alone data logging, as it may damage the port and will not be covered under warranty.
* ReXgen Air is an IP50 device (please ensure it is covered when mounting it in locations that may have water ingress).

* To set up a USB via the Molex connector, please specify this requirement when ordering, or the device must be sent back to Influx (as this requires some hardware modification).
