# Sending custom CAN messages

Open the 'Send Frames' Menu

Click 'Custom'

The below window will open.

Enter the Message details:

* **Bus Number –** 0 or 1
* **CAN ID –**  Include 0x before ID if you are entering in HEX
* Length of Message
* **Data –** Example 0x02 0x01 0x0C
* **Trigger –** Time interval 100ms
* **Modifications –** For advanced option, refer to SavvyCAN documentation

Enable the tick to start the transmission
