DiaLog software FAQ
CT is more rugged with IP 65 rating and can support up to 7 CANbus and Flexray. One of the most powerful logger that supports advanced protocols like xCP/CCP.
It is available under the influx technology folder in the Start menu. If it is not availble there, then please install from the Influx technology support page. https://www.influxtechnology.com/support
Ensure the Rebel Driver is installed on your computer.
Open the Licence Manager from the Dialog Help section, Note down the Activation identification code, and De Activate the Licence from the existing PC. In the new PC, use the I Moved from Another PC option.
There could be several reasons:
Ensure that you have configured the correct Baud Rate.
Make sure the physical connections are correct.
Ensure CAN Bus is terminated.

There could be several reasons:
Ensure that you are using the Proper Tester and Module Ident in ISO settings
Ensure that the PID added is supported by the vehicle or not
Disable Send start section and Sample only valid PID option in ISO settings
There could be several reasons:
Ensure that the GNSS bus is added to the configuration
Ensure that the GNSS antenna is interfaced with the logger
Ensure that the vehicle is not inside any location where a satellite signal is not available
If the CAN bus is logged along with GNSS, make sure that CAN Bus is active; if the CAN bus is not active, GNSS logging will stop after some time.
You can retrieve the data from the Rebel logger in two ways:
Using the Dialog software via USB cable from the Rebel Explorer option
Directly from the SD card by plugging it into the PC
Rebel Data loggers use Rechargeable batteries for the RTC; if the logger is not used for several weeks, the battery voltage will get low. You can plug the logger into a 12V power source and leave it for more than 12 hr to charge the cell. Once charged, you can set the time and confirm if the logger is keeping time. If the logger shows the wrong time, the battery might be dead and need to be replaced.
There could be several reasons:
Ensure that the SIM card is active and has sufficient data
Ensure that the GPRS/LTE antenna is connected to the logger
Check the Server and APN settings of the logger
Ensure the logger serial number is added to the StreamLog administration tab.
Test the connection with Streamlog Assistant. Refer Rebel Support page for the instruction manual.
The standard SLA period for Dialog Software is one year (Key-based and Dongle-based Licence can be purchased with a longer SLA duration); once the SLA period is complete, the software will start showing the Licence Expiry notification. Once the Licence expires, you will no longer be eligible to get New software or firmware updates. The GNSS Map overlay feature in Dialog Plus Version will be disabled as it is subscription-based. All the other functions will not be affected.
Ensure that the AUX Power settings are enabled in the configuration properties. Refer K-series Support page for more information.
A Flap protects the SD Card inside a Rebel CT logger. It can be opened by pressing the flap from the top and lifting it.
Influx Technology recommends Sandisk Extreme Pro SD cards for its data loggers.
F1. CAN 1 (MS) Bus traffic.

Status. On—waiting, Flashing—Logging. Connect. They on—connected (USB/WIFI/LTE). SD Card. They are connected.

Rebel LT has USB isolation that protects the device and your laptop when used in high-voltage environments.
Isolating the USB port in the device is crucial for safeguarding both the equipment and connected devices, mainly when operating in high-voltage environments. This isolation is a protective barrier, preventing potential electrical issues or surges from reaching and damaging the device or the connected laptop. Creating an isolated barrier significantly reduces the risk of voltage spikes, ground loops, or other electrical disturbances affecting the USB port. This protective measure ensures the overall integrity and longevity of the equipment, minimizing the potential for damage and malfunctions in high-voltage scenarios.

Search for "Rebel Drivers" in the Windows Search bar. If not found, install from C:\Program Files (x86)\Influx Technology\DiaLog5.3.0.0\RebelDrivers

The Rebel LT data logger can fully record standard OBD-II live data. Influx Technology's Dialog software provides pre-configured options for commonly used OBD PIDs (parameter IDs), streamlining the configuration process for efficient data acquisition. There could be several reasons:

The Rebel LT data loggers are equipped with SDHC card slots, offering up to 64GB capacities, enabling extended recording durations and accommodating large datasets. This flexibility allows users to tailor their data acquisition needs to various project requirements, from short-term monitoring to long-term data collection campaigns.
Sandisk Extreme Pro SD cards are highly recommended to ensure optimal performance and data integrity with Influx Technology's data loggers. Influx does not guarantee the smooth functioning of the logger with any other SD cards available.

First, connect your Rebel LT to your computer and open DiaLog software. Click on "Set Time" from the top menu to sync your Data Logger's time with your computer's time. Note: Ensure to format the SD card using the Rebel LT atleast once before using.
1) Insert the SD Card into the PC
2) Open Dialog
3) Right-click on the configuration which you wish to send to the logger
4) Choose Send configuration to SD card
5) Choose the SD Card
6) Select 5.3 Version Firmware
7) Insert the card in the Logger and power ON the logger

Rebel LT goes to power down mode after both the CAN Buses stop sending CAN messages; the device will wait for the time specified by the user while making the configuration and then goes to power down mode. The device can exit from the power down mode when it receives any CAN message on CAN 0 or CAN1.
