# Formatting SD card in the Logger

#### Notes:

* This option must be used when a new SD card is inserted in a logger for the first time.

Insert the SD card in the logger, click the 'Format Logger SD' tab, and choose the 'Yes' option.

A new window pops up; click on 'Yes' to initiate the SD card formatting.

Exit the Format Window by pressing 'OK'.
