Begin creating a new configuration by clicking on the 'New Configuration' tab. Name the configuration and click 'OK.'
While performing this step, check the sleep mode settings to avoid battery drain.
Use the drop-down menu to select the required mode.
Ensure that the 'Limit Module Wakeup' is not enabled, and then select 'OK'.
Click on 'New Bus', select 'CAN 0 (HS) from the drop-down menu and click 'OK'.
Select the drop-down CAN /bus speed menu, allocate the correct bus speed that matches your CAN network requirement, and then select 'OK'.
Click on 'New Protocol'.
Select 'CCP Protocol' from the displayed choices, and click 'OK'.
Click on 'Import From A2L File' (bottom left corner)
Locate and select the A2L file on your PC and then click'Open' The settings will be imported from the import window.
Method 1: Select the parameter, use the 'Rate' drop-down menu to select the sampling rate for the parameter and click the 'Copy Items' tab.
Method 2: Press and hold the 'CTRL' key and select multiple parameters, and use the 'Rate' drop-down menu to select the sampling rate for the parameter.
Click the 'Copy Items' tab or drag and drop the selected parameters to the items screen.
